To start receiving meals, we fill out a client information card, determine the number of meals you’d like to receive each week and send out a welcome package containing a menu. The cost per meal is $6.50 and each meal contains an appetizer, entrée, bread and dessert. We can provide meals to allow for most special dietary requirements such as diabetes, low sodium or cholesterol, low residue, gluten-free, celiac, and various mild allergies.
Meals on Wheels is available for:
– Adults aged 65 years of age or over and find it challenging to prepare meals
– Disabled individuals who have difficulty preparing their own meals
– Individuals not preparing adequate meals because they are ill, recovering from surgery or an injury, or are dealing with personal health issues
Your meal will be individually packaged in disposable containers and then transported in insulated bags to ensure that hot selections remain hot and other items are at the desired temperature. Meals are delivered over the lunch hour between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. Any cancellations have to be made by 8:00 am, and can also be done ahead of time if you are going to be away.

Please note – we cannot guarantee that there is no cross-contamination in the preparation and delivery of our meals, so we strongly urge anyone with a life threatening allergy to avoid using our service.
